There is a certain something, that a handmade item gives beyond aesthetic charm.

My mother taught me to sew when I was young. I can’t remember a time when my mother didn’t knit or sew us clothes. They weren’t always the most stylish and I didn’t always receive them as graciously as I could have. Having a mother who made stuff didn’t seem that amazing.

All these years later, I clearly see that I completely took her skills and willingness to impart these upon me, for granted!

I started making clothes for my children when they were born as it seemed like the natural thing to do. I up-cycled old clothes, unraveled old knits and made new, interesting items.

Something that I’ve come to realise is that not everyone knows how to sew or knit and that a lot of people really do love custom made, unique items, that are simply not available in your average store.

My goal is to create garments and accessories that have that je ne sais pas…..and to make sure everyone can have beautiful clothes that fit their body.
